*Developed study aborad programs in Costa Rica and Morocco, 2012.

*Participated in two-week seminar on Celtic Monasticism in Ireland through the Céile Dé organization
(Fall 1998)

*Two-week study tour of Israel, through International Society for the Study of European Ideas
(Summer 1998)

*Delegate to China for National Women's Studies Association: participated in professional meetings with faculty from Fudan University (Shanghai), China Women's College (Beijing), Institute of Women's Studies (Beijing), Beijing Foreign Language Institute, Shaanxi Teacher's College, and members of the All China Women's Federation in Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai
(Summer 1998).

*Led and organized a study abroad program to Greece and Italy, DeKalb College
(Summer 1997)

*Faculty member in University System of Georgia Study Abroad program at Roehampton Institute, London
(Summer 1996)
